What to see in St John s

The Saint John River is a river with a length of 673 km; at its mouth it has a flow rate of 1,130 m³/s. It is located in the northeast of North America. Not to be confused with the St. Johns River in Florida. The river has its source in the federal state of Maine, Somerset County, in the northeast of the United States of America. Saint John River. It flows north, crosses the Canadian province of New Brunswick, the Appalachian Mountains, and empties into the Bay of Fundy located in the Atlantic Ocean. The river has an altitude difference between source and mouth of 360 m. The river, partly (130 km) along its course, forms a natural border between the USA and Canada. The Saint John River has a hydrographic basin area of 55,200 km², being the second largest river on the northeast coast of North America. Its lower course is suitable for navigation. At the mouth, during the tide, which reaches a height of 15 m, the ocean water rapidly pushes the river's waters upstream, a phenomenon called the Reversing Falls Rapids.
