What to see in Busan

Busan is the second largest metropolis in South Korea after Seoul, with a population of 3.6 million inhabitants. It is also the largest port city in South Korea and the fifth busiest port by cargo tonnage in the world. The city is located in the southern part of the Korean peninsula. Busan is divided into 15 administrative districts and a single county. It is also a centre for sports events; the final of the 2002 Football World Cup took place here. It is also a centre for international conventions in the Republic of Korea; in 2005 it hosted the APEC meeting. In December 2014, it was added to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as "City of Film".
